Use a QR code on the night
Put a small sign near the bar and the guest tables, not just at the booth. Guests then send a request from their seat and nobody interrupts you during the first dance or a speech. You see the list while you play.
Filter with the couple in mind
Check each request against the couple's wishes. Remove anything on the do-not-play list. Be careful with songs that clear a mixed-age floor. When in doubt, ask yourself if the couple would smile or wince.
Tell guests what happens
A short line works: Requests are welcome, the couple has the final say. This sets a friendly limit and gives you a polite way to skip a song. Tips and boosts are optional, and some wedding guests like to say thank you that way.
